The professional model has on-board memory to record your runs, whcih you can then download later to your laptop. The adjustable one on the other hand just dumps the data straight to your laptop, which means you need to leave your laptop hooked up to the unit during the run. 3) Does the system come with software? Yes, it comes with all the software necessary to tune the unit and do datalogging. 4) Can I get the adjustable unit, with the full throttle shift option? Yes, it costs an additional $150 for full throttle shift (where you can just floor the gas the whole run, and just use the clutch to shift gears... kind of like speedshifting except the full throttle shift prevents your car from overreving). 5) Can I give my credit card info to Racelogic directly? Yes, if you don't feel secure with giving me the info, you can call them with your info after you give me the shipping info first.
